Ido Siman-Tov is NYC based Photographer, Videographer, Director, Art Director.
Ido is a New York–based photographer who has been documenting life in New York city for over 15 years.
He spends much of his time walking through New York, observing people, light, and everyday moments as they naturally unfold. His personal work focuses on human presence, street scenes, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed.
In recent years, he has been working increasingly with film, drawn to its slower, more intentional process.
Alongside his artistic work, Ido works professionally as an event and portrait photographer, capturing weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, celebrations, and private sessions. He is also providing photo and video content for businesses, including social media reels and brand storytelling content in NYC. His approach remains the same — attentive, natural, and focused on real moments rather than staged ones.
Originally from Israel, he sees New York with a sense of distance and curiosity — both as someone who has become part of the city, and as someone who continues to observe it. This perspective keeps his eye attentive, always searching for moments that others might overlook.
Selected motion work is presented in collaboration with July (view work).
